This webinar explores the use of modern AI tools in practical embedded software engineering workflows to produce higher quality code more quickly.
It examines how AI can genuinely help in day-to-day embedded development tasks like scaffolding peripheral drivers, porting code between different MCUs, analysing intermittent bugs, reviewing code, testing, and documentation.
The session will cover good prompting techniques and sensible verification steps, showing how AI can act as a capable assistant to reduce routine effort, allowing embedded engineers to spend more time on higher complexity work.
It will conclude by highlighting areas where special attention and human judgement remain essential, alongside sharing guidance for software engineering mentors and leaders integrating these tools across diverse teams.
Ben Harrison - Doulos Certified Training Instructor and AI & Security Consultant - will present this webinar with live Q&A available throughout the broadcasts.
