Expert guidance on developing a Power Distribution Network for today's high speed PCBs

December 2025|Event

Doulos is pleased to announce this live, instructor-led online training course: Power Integrity Design for High-Speed PCBs.

This course provides a clear and structured approach to designing robust Power Distribution Networks (PDNs) for today’s high-speed digital systems. Delivered across two live online sessions (4 hours per session), the course equips engineers with the knowledge and techniques needed to meet the demanding power requirements of modern high-performance ICs.

This course will guide you through the principles, challenges, and best practices of power integrity design, helping you avoid common issues such as voltage dropouts, PCB trace overloading, incorrect decoupling strategies, and EMI problems. Through expert instruction by Chuck Corley, a leading expert in high-speed digital design and signal integrity, you will gain the confidence to design PCBs capable of reliably powering high-speed, high-power devices.

The emphasis of this course is on:

  • Understanding the big-picture view of power delivery system design
  • Recognising the characteristics of a well-designed Power Distribution System
  • Identifying conflicting requirements and trade-offs in PDN design
  • Managing via inductance, capacitor placement, and plane capacitance
  • Applying effective strategies for modelling and testing power delivery systems

This is an interactive course - participants are encouraged to ask questions and engage directly with the Doulos expert throughout each session.

DELIVERED ONLINE - LIVE INSTRUCTOR-LED TRAINING - SCHEDULED OVER TWO LIVE ONLINE SESSIONS (4 HOURS EACH): 26th Jan (Americas), 29th Jan (EurAsia)
