This technical workshop will demonstrate how to design optimized FIR filters targeting the Versal™ Adaptive SoC from AMD using MATLAB® and Simulink®, combining high-level algorithm design with hardware-aware implementation.
Are you ready to accelerate your DSP designs on AMD Versal Adaptive SoCs? This session will take you from algorithm development through to deployment, focusing on how to leverage MATLAB tools and hardware features of Versal for high-performance digital signal processing.
The emphasis of this workshop is on:
- Understanding the Versal AI Core architecture and how it supports high-performance DSP applications
- Leveraging MATLAB and Simulink for modeling and simulating high-performance FIR filters
- Using Model Composer to target AI Engines efficiently with minimal hand-coding
- Understanding how to transition from algorithm design to hardware implementation seamlessly
- Gaining insight into the analysis of generated HDL and AIE code for system-level integration
