Doulos is pleased to announce an opening for a Member Technical Staff – Embedded Software Training to join our North America team.

As a leading independent provider of training services to the semiconductor design and verification industry, Doulos continues to expand its presence across North America. This role represents an excellent opportunity for an experienced embedded software professional to contribute to our continued growth while helping deliver high-quality technical education to our customers.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering and developing training content related to embedded systems and software. This includes instructor-led courses, online training, webinars, and self-paced learning materials.

Training topics may include:

  • Embedded C, C++ and Rust
  • Embedded Linux and device drivers
  • Yocto Project and Zephyr RTOS
  • Secure embedded systems
  • ARM architectures and software development

In addition to course delivery, the role involves working closely with customers and internal teams to tailor training solutions to specific requirements, as well as supporting technical marketing and pre-sales activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver live (in-person and virtual) embedded systems training
  • Develop new course materials and enhance existing content
  • Create webinars and online training resources
  • Collaborate with customers to customize training programs
  • Travel to customer sites and public training events worldwide
  • Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge in embedded systems

Candidate Profile

We are seeking candidates with:

  • Strong hands-on experience in real-time embedded C/C++ and embedded Linux
  • Familiarity with Yocto and secure embedded systems
  • Knowledge of Arm architectures and modern embedded development practices
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Experience in training, teaching, or customer-facing roles (preferred)
  • A minimum of 5 years’ industry experience and a degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science

The role is primarily remote, with travel requirements (approximately 25% or more). Candidates should be based near a major airport in the United States.
